The Show Spots button is a tool within the Full-Body Imaging add-on which automatically identifies all spots on a body image and highlight them with color-coded circles. This simplified tool is designed to support the review of patient images and identifying any suspicious changes.
*It is important to note that the Show Spots feature is only a support tool and should never be used to replace the mole identification methods of a trained medical professional. To learn how to use the Show Spots tool, follow the steps below:
- Click the Patients button in the top menu bar. Then, click the Full-Body Imaging icon corresponding to your desired patient.
Alternatively, if you are already in the patient's profile, you may simply select the Full-Body button located at the top right corner. - Next, click the image section you would like to use the Show Spots tool for. (To learn how to upload Full-Body Images, click here).
- Click the Show Spots button
- All spots within the image will be circled with a blue color to help highlight their existence. Any mapped spots will have an additional red circle around them, and selecting the spot with your cursor will turn it yellow (refer to the legend below the images). Note how the circles assist in identifying any differences over time. To learn how to use MoleMap, click here. To learn how to use MoleMatch, click here.
