How Do I Document A Patient Visit Note?

Visit Close Notes are designed to allow you to document any closing notes, feedback, or thoughts regarding a visit with a patient. Unlike typical notes, these are not tied to a single spot, but rather the entire patient profile. To document a Patient Visit Note follow the instructions below:

1. Click the Patient List option from the top menu bar and select your patient.
   
2. Click the Visit Notes button.
    
3. Enter your notes. You may press the @ key to tag patient or DermEngine colleague to the notes. If your colleague belongs to multiple clinics, you can select the corresponding clinic. Doing so will allow them to see this note. (Patients or colleagues may be able to see this note regardless depending on the patient's permissions or if this patient has previously been shared with that colleague).           
        
   Additionally, you may add a personalized template to the note by pressing the # button then typing the associated keyword. To learn more about these templates click here. When ready click Save.
