Why Did The Notification To My Patient About Their Pathology Report Fail?

Once you or your pathologist have completed a pathology report, you have the option of notifying your patients about the results via text (SMS) or email. If the notification is unable to reach its recipient one of the following error messages will be displayed:

SMS Delivery Issues

Generic: The phone number was unable to receive this message.

30003: The phone you are trying to reach is switched off or otherwise unavailable.

30004: The phone number you are trying to reach is blocked from receiving this message.

30005: The phone number you are trying to reach is unknown and may no longer exist

30006: The phone number you are trying to reach is unable to receive this message. Potential reasons could include trying to reach a landline, or in the case of short codes, an unreachable carrier.

Email Delivery Issues

Status Bounced: Receiving server could not or would not accept the message for this email address.

Status Deferred: Receiving server temporarily rejected the message for this email address.
