How Do I Delete or Amend A Pathology Diagnosis?

After documenting a pathology diagnosis on DermEngine you have the ability to amend or delete it following the instructions below:

Go to the patient’s profile and select the pathology diagnosis from the Spot Timeline. Alternatively, the report can be reviewed under the patient’s Timeline. (To learn how to view a patient’s Timeline, click here).
To amend the Pathology Diagnosis simply click Edit, revise the necessary information and then save. Alternatively, to delete, you may select the Delete Pathology Dx button in the bottom left corner.
Due to regulatory purposes, a medical record cannot be fully deleted from the system. Therefore, whether the pathology dx has been deleted it will be grayed out in the patient’s Spot Timeline. Similarly, any original versions of an amended dx will still be visible. To view the most recent version of an amended Pathology Dx select the option with the details visible.
