As a user, you may want to ensure you have real-time synchronization between the actions you are taking on your DermEngine mobile app (phone) to the DermEngine webpage (computer). For your convenience, this feature is automatically enabled for our users.
Synchronization will work with the following workflows:
1. TBP Mapping
2. Adding a dermoscopic image or overview to a spot
4. P2P workflow
Pre-conditions for the Follow Me feature to work:
1. The same patient is open on the mobile app (phone) and the DermEngine webpage (computer).
2. The user is logged in under the same enterprise and clinic on the mobile app (phone) and the DermEngine webpage (computer).
3. If using the TBP workflow, an existing TBP image needs to be added to the patient's profile.
As you take images via the above workflows, you will note the DermEngine webpage will automatically update to the applicable spot page or TBP image/s. To check if your Follow Me feature is enabled, see the screenshots of the example below.
- Select a patient and navigate to the spot page. You will note the Follow Me Icon at the top left of the screen. When the icon is in teal, the feature is enabled.
- If you wish to disable this feature and turn off the synchronization, click the icon. You will note the icon turns grey to note feature is disabled.
- When an image (dermoscopic, overview or a spot mapped via TBP) is taken on the mobile, the webpage will automatically sync to the web.
Note: If the synchronization fails after 30 seconds, the request will be cancelled.
