DermEngine performs automatic Lesion Mapping to detect lesions in a patient image and can be filtered by score, size, or degree of change. You may want to manually map the lesions you see on a patient's image. To learn how to do so, continue reading this article.
- Access your patient’s total body photography profile, then click the desired body part. Select the desired image from the right-hand side.
- Select a lesion that you'd like to map within the image selected and a teal circle will appear around it. To document it, click the icon. Alternatively, you can document multiple lesions by holding CTRL/CMND button and then clicking the icon.
- If DermEngine's algorithms did not detect a lesion, you can add it by clicking on it and a teal circle will appear around it. Select the icon to add it.
- One by one, DermEngine will highlight the selected lesions in teal and prompt you to place the corresponding spot on the patient’s body map. You can associate a lesion with an existing spot by clicking on its marker on the body map (teal circle).
- Once finished, click 'Save To Body Map'.
- From here, you can take images from the DermEngine app by clicking 'Take Images On App' and then syncing the images with your desired device. To learn how to get started, click here .
