      How Can I Search For A Patient?

      When searching for a patient you can either use the Patients List search bar or Advanced Search depending on your needs. The Patients List search bar is good for basic searches with just the patient's first or last name. Advanced Search is for cases where you might be searching for a patient with different criteria, such as last imaging session or birth date. Follow the instructions below to learn how to use each option:

      *It's important to remember that DermEngine periodically archives patients for a faster loading and navigation experience, however they are all still available when you use either search function.

      Patient List Search Bar

      1. Select the Patients option from the top menu bar, then click the Patients List option.

      2. To search for a patient type their first or last name in the search bar.

      Advanced Search

      1. Click the Advanced Search Setting button in the Patients List.

        Alternatively, if you are on the home page you may click the Search icon in the top menu bar.

      2. Select the Search Patient or Search Image tab to start your Advanced Search. To learn more about using Advanced Search click here.

      2. Here, you will be able to view all of your clinic patients or referral patients by selecting the respective tabs at the top of the screen.
