How Do I Invite A Patient?

Within DermEngine you have the option of inviting your patients to be actively involved in their care plan through their MoleScope account. Follow the instructions below to learn how to invite the patient while creating their profile or after it has already been made.

Invite While Creating Profile

  1. Select Patient option in the top menu bar, then click Patient List.

  2. Select the Add Patient button.

  3. As you are filling out the patient's information be sure to enter their email address. You will then be prompted to select whether you would like to invite this patient to have the ability to share and access their images.

  4. Once ready, click Create Patient.

Invite A Pre-existing Patient

  1. Click on Patients List in the top menu bar. Here, click the "..." icon next to the patient whose profile you wish to edit and select the Edit Profile option.

    Alternatively, if you are already in a patient's profile, click the  icon.

    A popup will appear displaying the patient's basic information. To add their email click Full Profile in the top left corner. 
  2. Enter the patient's email. Be sure to check the Invite Box to ensure your patient will be invited to access their profile. When ready, click Save Changes.

    If you have previously entered their email information, you may click the Invite button in the bottom left corner. Alternatively, you can select "Full Profile" and check the Invite Box.   

    When ready, click Save Changes.

iOS

  1. Tap the  icon in the Patients List. 
  2. Based on your preference, select whether you would like to create the patient's profile based on their Full Name or their Health ID. (The example shown below will use the Full Name option.)

  3. Enter the required information (for the Health ID # tab this will be Health ID # and Gender, while the Full Name tab will be First Name, Last Name, and Gender).
  4. Enter their email address, then select that you would like to invite this patient to share and access images.

  5. Enter any additional information you would like to have included in the patient's profile (such as Date of Birth, Skin Type, or Phone Number). When ready, tap the Register Patient button.

Invite A Pre-existing Patient

  1.  Select Patient List from the side menu.
  2. Tap on the profile picture icon of the patient whose email you wish to enter.
  3. Enter their email accordingly and tap Invite Patient. Don't forget to select Update to save your changes.

    If you have previously invited the patient, you can only make changes to their email address on the web.
