How Do I Use Advanced Search?

This feature allows you to search for information through a variety of different options.  Each scenario offers a detailed list of possible characteristics and terms you can use so you don’t waste valuable time. You can even download your images directly from DermEngine to your computer.  

1. Select Search from the top menu bar.
   
2. Select the Search Patient or Search Image tab to start your Advanced Search.
   

Option 1: Search Patient

• Search by Patient Information
     - Enter any parameter such as Name, Age Range, Gender, Skin Type, etc.
  
   
• Search by Diagnosis
     - Enter any parameter such as Type, Notes, Date Range, etc.
  

Option 2: Search Images

• Search Image Type by Spot
     - Enter any parameter such as Image Type, Image Tag, Date Range, etc.
  

• Search Image Type by Total Body
    - Enter any parameter such as Date Range or by selecting any Body Location
