How to navigate the 3D model?

  1. First, access the 3D model of your patient. To do so, search for your patient in the Patient's List on DermEngine. Clicking on the patient will automatically bring you to the 3D view.
  2. Once loaded, you will see a high-resolution 3D rendering of your patient with markers indicating captured lesions.
  3. You can navigate the model with the following actions:
    1. Click and drag with your mouse to rotate the patient.
    2. Move left or right to rotate horizontally.
    3. Move up or down to tilt the view. 
  4. At the bottom lefthand side, you can navigate the various body parts by selecting them.


  5. You can also zoom in to inspect specific areas of the skin.
    1. Use the scroll wheel on your mouse, or
    2. Pinch to zoom on a trackpad.
  6. You can reposition the model completely within the screen to focus on specific areas.
    1. Click and drag while holding the right mouse button or
    2. Use the trackpad gesture to pan.
