Do I have to use gel when I use MoleScope?
When using MoleScope, you need to use a fluid media, like a gel or immersion oil to enhance the quality of the image and remove the reflection from the skin's surface. An easy option is to use antibacterial gel. To learn how to use a gel when taking an image with your MoleScope, watch the MoleScope App 101 video.
When using MoleScope II, you do not need a gel since the polarized lighting eliminates the glare reflecting off the skin, which improves the image quality.
