For some practice management systems (eg. BestPractice, Medtech, Medical Director), DermSync offers the ability to export reports from DermEngine and import them into your practice management software.
You can check if this is a supported feature with your integration by going to the DermSync menu from your computer under Settings looking for 'DermEngine report import directory. If you see this and don't know how to set up this feature, find instructions from the list of integration set up instructions here.
If you have gone through set up steps for this, you will be able to use this feature with the following general steps:
- Go to DermSync menu, Settings > DermEngine report import directory
- Click browse and select necessary folder (this will be specific to setup you did - find instructions from the list of integration set up instructions here), then click save. Be sure to select a folder path that exists in your system or you may see an error message and have to try again.

On DermEngine web, create a Timeline Report. Press the button to Print Report and export to (your PMS).
DermSync will save the report to the selected folder.
