How Do I Import My Settings Into DermSync?
Note that if you are not familiar with your export settings, please first read How Do I Export My Settings From DermSync?
To import your personal settings into DermSync follow the instructions below:
- When exporting your settings from DermSync, you'll have a settings file named ‘settings.ini’. Once you have downloaded the installer (DermSync-setup.msi), use the following command to install DermSync and load the settings file onto DermSync:
msiexec /i DermSync-setup.msi CONFIGFILE="Location\To\Config\File"
This command will run the DermSync installer, and every time DermSync starts, it will look for the new config file. - If you have installed DermSync on your machine, you can just add the following argument to the shortcut:
Alternatively, you may run: DermSync-run.exe --config=Location\To\Config\File
