How Do I Edit A Clinical Diagnosis?
After documenting a clinical diagnosis on DermEngine you have the ability to amend or delete it following the instructions below:
- Click on the Patients button in the top menu bar, then select the patient you wish to provide a consultation for from the Patients List.
- Select the clinical diagnosis you would like to edit from the Timeline Preview or directly from the patient's Timeline. (To learn how to view a patient’s Timeline click here).
- Click the Edit button.
- Enter any changes you wish to make. When complete click Save.
- Due to regulatory purposes, a medical record cannot be fully deleted from the system. Therefore, when a clinical diagnosis has been edited an original copy will remain visible within the patient's Timeline (labelled as amended). To view the most recent version of an amended clinical diagnosis select the option with the details visible.
