How Do I Use Smart Snap When There Are No Existing Images?

Smart Snap is DermEngine's fastest workflow to documenting dermoscopic images. To learn how to use the Smart Snap tool please follow the steps below:

* Minor note: Make sure the DermEngine app is updated to the latest version in the app store.

1. On the mobile app, tap the patient. 
   
2. Tap Smart Snap.
   
3. Once the lesion is in view, take your image. 
   
4. As this is the new spot recording for this patient in DermEngine, tap New Spot. 
   
5. First map the lesion on the 3D mannikin and then tap place. 
   
6. Select 'overview' from the bottom right and take a wider shot/overview image of the spot. You will need to disconnect your dermatoscope at this step. 
   
7. Tap Done.
   
8. You have now created the new spot for this patient.
