      How to Share Timeline Reports with Patients or Providers?

      Timeline reports consolidate important patient information in one place. You can print and share a variety of reports from DermEngine. This article will teach you how to send timeline reports securely on the app. Alternatively, you can print timeline reports instead; see how in this article.

      1. Access your patient's timeline page. To learn how to navigate to a patient's timeline page, see this article.

      2. Click 'Print Report' in the top right corner. Select the relevant criteria for your report, then press 'Print'.
      3. Click 'Share' on the top bar. 
      4. You can choose to share the report with a Patient or Provider(s). Enter the correct email address, subject line, and message. A template automatically appears that you can edit. When ready, press 'Send'. 

        Sharing with a Patient:

        1. You can also add the report to the Patient's Documents section by checking the bottom left box. 
        2. From there, share this report by following these steps:

        Note:
        1. If a Patient's email is already in their DermEngine Profile, their email will pre-populate in the email field. 
        2. If a Provider is already a part of your referral network, type their name or clinic, and a provider pre-population item will be available for you to select the correct provider.
             a) If a doctor is a referring doctor of a patient, they will be automatically added.
             b) You can edit this and add more doctors to the file. 


        3. You can manually enter an email address for a non-DermEngine user. 
        4. For future referrals, you can save referring doctors' details for the patient. Please refer to this FAQ.
      5. When the report is sent, the patient/provider will receive an email like this:

      6. At the same time, the patient/provider will receive in the next email a 6-digit PIN code to help them access their report securely.

      7. After clicking "View Report", the patient/provider will be redirected to a DermEngine page to verify their access. Enter the 6-digit PIN code to access the shared report.
      8. When access is granted, the patient/provider can view their report securely on the DermEngine platform.
